Mike Nemecek Mike has been fencing for 34 years. He has been the Head Coach of WMFA since 2002. Coach Nemecek has National & International Professional Coaches Certification as Prévôt de Fleuret. He has served as one of the US Womens national foil coaches and has been coaching internationally since 2002. He brought home the Gold for the US in Bratislava at a Junior World Cup in 2005. He produced the only fencer in West Michigan to ever represent the United States on four World Championship teams. Nemeceks students are receiving anywhere from partial to full ride college scholarships in fencing and are being praised for their excellence of character on and off the fencing strip.
Robert Kreitsch MD
Dr. Kreitsch has been fencing for 45 years. He was the 1969 and 1970 MVP on the Michigan State Varsity Fencing Team. Specializing in Sabre, Dr. Kreitsch is has served as President and is currently on the Board of WMFA
Dennis Joles Dennis has been fencing since 2001. He has competed at many National and several International Competitions and is Nationally rated in Foil and Epee and is on the national point standings for mens veteran foil
Dale Svhil
Dale has been fencing since 2001 and is currently serving on the Board of WMFA. He has completed Professional Coaches training and has competed at many National and several International Competitions and is Nationally rated in Foil.
Samantha Nemecek- Belding
Sam represented the US four times on World Championship teams and is currently a camp coach @ WMFA. A graduate of Northwestern University, Sam attended on a full ride fencing scholarship. She was the only two time Midwest Conference Title Holder, Four time All American and Academic All-Big Ten Honoree and Northwestern’s All Time Career Win Leader. She was inducted into Northwestern’s Athletic Hall of Fame in September of 2016.
