Intermediate and Competitive Teen Foil (Ages 13-18) Restarting on Sept 6, 2022
Challenging class tailored to teens who have completed the beginning fencing program or have other prior fencing experience. Both recreational and competitive foilists will have the opportunity to vastly improve their physical fitness and foil fencing skills in order to meet their personal goals. Group warm ups and conditioning exercises will be followed by tailored drills and technical instruction corresponding to experience and skill level. Directed bouting grouped by skill level will give less experienced fencers a chance to build on concepts introduced in the beginning fencing program, while competitive fencers will receive high level instruction to allow them to grow into exceptional student-athletes.
Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays and taught by Head Coach Mike Nemecek and Coach Doug Green.
Fencing equipment is required and may be purchased or rented from
WMFA. Students may be eligible to apply for scholarship reimbursement

  1. Good morning,

Wondering what class might be best for our 16 year old daughter? She took a fencing class for 6-8 weeks when she was around 10 years old.

    Thanks!

    Chris
